A critique of student work as the culmination to a project or major assignment gives students a chance to present their work for discussion and is an integral part of the creative process. Critique sessions provide students an authentic audience, a chance to think critically as a designer, artist, photographer, etc. A chance to critique other’s work not only helps each student improve their work, but helps them to think critically about the work of others.
CRITIQUE GOALS:
- Everyone will come away from this critique with deeper clarity about their final plan and the direction they would like to take in their final project.
- Everyone will give and receive both warm and cool feedback about their final plan.
- Every single group member will verbally participate.
