For each of the studio projects you complete, you must also complete a process portfolio documenting your ideation, research, process and reflection.
1. ideas and intentions-LINK
- brainstorm/idea web- What could you do with this theme? How could you link it to your life, your experience?
- initial sketches
- developing ideas
- final plan
2. critical investigation-LINK

- research notes- start with your theme, write a page of notes based off the video of your theme
- artist research -1 full page from each of your 2 artists, so 2 pages total

3. skills, techniques, processes-LINK
- Media Testing
- Process documentation of studio work
4. reviewing, reflecting, refining- LINK
- Process documentation of studio work -this is a daily journal of your studio work progress. You should include images of your work, additional media testing photos and written annotations describing and detailing your process as you create your studio piece. Address any changes to your work as you begin to create your final studio piece.
- Final Reflection -Prompts for your final reflection of your studio piece are down below. This piece of writing should be a minimum of a half page and maximum of 1 page single-spaced. Include a photo of your final studio work to accompany your final reflection. This is the last step of your process portfolio for each unit.
Final Reflection Prompts
You will need to write a half page to full page single spaced final reflection on each of your studio works you complete.
You must photograph your completed studio work and have your final reflection accompanied by this photograph.
Organize your paragraphs into 3-4 paragraphs ( 1 paragraph for context, 1 paragraph for theme, 1 paragraph for form/process).
2D work-1-2 clear photos (1 whole work, 1 close up if there a details to pay attention to)
3D work-3 photos from different angles, neutral background (black, grey or white background, even bright lighting)

- What are some of the most significant things you've learned through art-making?
- How do you plan to further your curiosities brought forth by this project into future studio projects?
